Classroom Heroes Begins for Fall 2021

What’s being taught is just as important as how it’s being taught. Where would our children’s education be without caring teachers? Hard-working teachers and educators in our Missouri communities have displayed resilience and strength during the uncertainty of the Covid-19 pandemic. To continue to show our support and gratitude, Landers Chevrolet Cadillac of Joplin is again partnering with KOAM-TV to recognize educators with our Missouri Classroom Heroes contest for the fall semester of 2021, beginning September 1st on a monthly basis..

Each month you have the opportunity to nominate a Missouri teacher who is your hero. Teachers and educators can be nominated by their peers, parents, and students into the drawing at MOClassroomHeroes.com. Your nomination can be a written statement or a video The month’s chosen Classroom Hero will receive $250 in visa gift cards and a gift back and their school will also be rewarded with $250 in gift cards. September’s entry period runs from Sept. 1 through Sept. 21. The announcement of the winner will be on Oct. 1. That’s not all! In December 2021, all three teachers who were chosen as the Monthly Classroom Heroes will be eligible to win the title of Fall 2021 Semester Hero. The winner will be determined via a public vote at MOClassroomHeroes.com. The Semester Classroom Hero and their school will share in the reward of $2,500, with $1,250 for each. The Semester Hero also gets a cool trophy.
