Cadillac debuts 2019 Cadillac XT5 Sport

With an incredible mix of cutting edge Cadillac styling, performance, luxury and comfort in an athletic midsize package, the 2019 Cadillac XT5 has been a hit with those who need a smaller SUV but still want the elegance that made Cadillac the standard of the world.

Now, Cadillac is upping the ante with the all-new 2019 XT5 Sport Package. Announced at the Chicago Auto Show in February, the special edition package features unique finishes, upgrades and materials choices to give the XT5 a significant boost in attitude.
“The new XT5 Sport package harmonizes styling cues from Cadillac’s new Sport models, first launched on XT4 and all-new XT6,” said Cadillac president Steve Carlisle. “It gives our best-selling XT5 a dark, aggressive appearance and expands customer choices within our successful crossover portfolio.”

Available on the 2019 XT5 Luxury and Premium Luxury trims, the limited edition 2019 XT5 Sport features a number of eye-catching elements, including a gloss black grille with Galvano surround, all-LED lighting with clear tail lamp lenses, power retracting side-assist steps, model-specific 20-inch alloy wheels in a special Technical Gray finish. Inside the 2019 Cadillac XT5 Sport features race-inspired Sport Pedals and two interior color options: Cirrus and Jet Black with Diamond Cut aluminum alloy trim, or Jet Black with aluminum trim.

The special edition retains all the features that make the Luxury and Premium Luxury XT5 a stunner, including adaptive remote start, an eight speaker premium audio system by Bose, leather-trimmed front seats with heating and ventilation, an automatic heated steering wheel, and more. Under the hood is Cadillac’s next-generation 3.6-liter V6, with cylinder deactivation and start/stop technology and backed by a smooth shifting eight speed automatic, delivering a spirited 310 horsepower.
The 2019 Cadillac XT5 Sport Edition will be available for order through Landers Chevrolet Cadillac of Joplin beginning this spring. The package is $2,995 on the Luxury trim and $1,995 on the Premium Luxury trim, plus the $49,490 base price of the 2019 Cadillac XT5.
