All About the 2024 Cadillac Lyriq
It’s electric! As we all know, things are shifting a bit in the auto world, bringing about more options than ever. And that means more environmentally-friendly options. The 2024 Cadillac Lyriq is a pretty sweet option in the affluent realm, offering Tech, Luxury and Sport trim levels of the vehicle. So what are some of the coolest features? We’ve outlined them a bit here.
Power and Prestige
The newest Lyriq is available in all-wheel drive as well as rear-wheel drive. Hold on tight because there’s a near-instantaneous 450 pound feet of torque. Enjoy a stealthy 500 horsepower for AWD and 340 horsepower for RWD.
So how far can it drive with a charge? The 2024 Lyriq RWD can travel 314 miles on a charge on 20-inch wheels, while the Lyriq AWD goes 307 miles.
Look Back on 120 Years of Cadillac History
Top-of-the-Line Technology
Ok, we must admit that the choreographed lighting feature has us hooked. The Lyriq actually performs a really cool choreographed lighting display that you must experience for yourself. It takes place across the front and the rear of the vehicle when you approach or depart, and while on the road, the expertly crafted headlamps always provide illumination to make the vehicle truly stand out.
You’ll also really enjoy a hands-free driving option called Super Cruise. It’s definitely the future of driving, so if you’re an early adopter of new things, this is a really fun feature to try out. The Cadillac driver-assistance technology is the first equipped to drive more than 400,000 miles of compatible roads in the U.S. and Canada. The enhanced version offers Automatic Lane Change, which automatically allows you to change lanes – while supervising the vehicle, of course. More specifically, Super Cruise can indicate when a lane change is optimal and initiate the maneuver, while following signaling protocols.
What’s more, the Tech trim level features a suite of futuristic technologies, like Regen On, a GM engine technology that allows a driver to engage regenerative braking via one-pedal driving, or without using the brake pedal.
How does it compare to last year’s model, the first-ever electric Cadillac? Read up here on the features of the 2023 Lyriq.
