Cadillac V-Series
Never a dull moment with a member of the Cadillac V-Series. The exhilaration of power controlled by your hands (and pushed to be faster by your feet), that’s what the V-Series family offers. Just because the V-Series badge stands for power doesn’t mean there isn’t a variety within the family. The details can tie the experience together. We at Landers Chevrolet Cadillac of Joplin, MO wanted to bring your attention to Cadillac’s performance vehicles. The V-Series has been going strong for almost two decades, with no plan to stop. We’ll start with discussing the CT4-V and CT4-V Blackwing before examining the CT5-V and CT5-V Blackwing, and then ending with the newest edition, the 2023 Cadillac Escalade-V. Let’s get started!
Each V-Series member comes with Magnetic Ride Control, a suspension mechanism that reads the road for better handling and agility. For a smooth, confident stop, V-Series models rely on Brembo high-performance brakes. Crafted for crisp power control and refined aerodynamics, each V-Series model applies the best of Cadillac craftsmanship and execution. The 2022 V-Series sedans can come in Infrared Tintcoat, Summit White, Black Raven, Satin Steel Metallic, Shadow Metallic, Rift Metallic, Wave Metallic, Electric Blue, and Blaze Orange Metallic exterior colors.
The safety features that come standard to the 2022 V-Series vehicles include Front Pedestrian Braking, Automatic Emergency Braking, Forward Collision Alert, Safety Alert Seat, Rear Seat Reminder, HD Rear Vision Camera, Teen Driver, Vehicle Diagnostics, and Rear Park Assist.
CT4 V-Series
CT4-V
The 2022 Cadillac CT4-V brings the race-like drive with a 2.7-liter dual volute turbocharged I4 engine with 325 horsepower, 380 lb.-ft. of torque, and a standard 10-speed automatic transmission. Rear-wheel drive comes standard for the CT4-V for better weight distribution and for tighter corner turns. All-wheel drive is offered for the CT4-V for stronger traction. To support the racing feel, the CT4-V comes standard with summer-only tires, increasing agility and responsiveness.
CT4-V Blackwing
The 2022 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing comes with 472 hp and 445 lb.-ft. of torque thanks to the Cadillac-exclusive 3.6-liter twin-turbo V6 engine option. The CT4-V Blackwing comes standard with a six-speed manual transmission or a 10-speed automatic transmission option. Moving on to check out the exterior, the CT4-V Blackwing’s Carbon Fiber package delivers a more aerodynamic driving experience with reduced lift and improved high-speed control. These factors lend the CT4-V Blackwing to being the highest aero downforce Cadillac.
CT5 V-Series
CT5-V
The two 2022 CT5 V-Series models take your driving dreams and make them a reality. For better fuel efficiency, the 2022 CT5-V’s 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine comes with Active Fuel Management, 360 hp, 405 lb.-ft. of torque, and standard 10-speed automatic transmission. The CT5-V comes standard with summer-only tires, but you can choose to equip your vehicle with all-season, low-profile run-flat tires for better performance on curvy roads over rugged terrain. Rear-wheel drive is standard, but all-wheel drive is available.
CT5-V Blackwing
The strongest and most refined member of the sedan V-Series section, the CT5-V Blackwing comes with a hand-assembled 6.2-liter supercharged V8 engine and 668 hp, 659 lb.-ft. of torque, and standard six-speed manual transmission. The manual transmission comes with active rev matching, no-lift shifting, and a hand-polished, 3D medallion on the gear shift. The standard tires on the CT5-V Blackwing are Michelin Pilot Sport 4S summer-only, low-profile tires.
